Please note this website is NOT in any way affiliated with the company AJS Management Slovakia.
The purpose of this statement is to inform the professional public about practices of the company AJS Management Slovakia (managed and owned by Mr. James Shekhdar), which the founders of this community consider not only inacceptable, but also damaging the reputation of PRINCE2 project management training providers in general.
Concretely, Mr. Shehkdar and/ or his staff have:
- Within a few days from signing a PRINCE Affiliate Agreement with their ATO (in May 2009), won a relatively large volume PRINCE2 training contract with one of the most important Slovak public administration training organisations by pretending AJS Management Slovakia would be the only PRINCE2 training provider in Slovakia, despite the fact there have been other accredited PRINCE2 training providers operating in Slovakia for years – and Mr. Shekhdar should have been aware of this.
- In June 2009 attempted to organise an event aimed at promoting AJS Management Slovakia PRINCE2 courses, announcing high profile speakers like presidents of Slovak IT and project management professional associations without the knowledge and consent of these persons.
- Immediately upon market entry started offering public PRINCE2 training in Slovakia at dumping prices, i.e. at prices he openly declared were deliberately set below his/ their cost.
- Sent unsolicited mass e-mail offers of AJS Management Slovakia PRINCE2 training to all members of the Slovak PRINCE2 User Group, which is a clear violation of the Group’s ethical standards.
- Repeatedly attempted to sell AJS Management Slovakia PRINCE2 training as part of the PRINCE2 User Group’s working meetings’ agenda, which is another clear violation of the Group’s ethical standards.
- Repeatedly attempted to sell AJS Management Slovakia PRINCE2 training by trying to convince Slovak PRINCE2: 2005 certificate holders (including VIPs like the President of the Slovak Project Management Association, the national member organisation of IPMA) they would need to take (his) PRINCE2: 2009 training to maintain their PRINCE2 qualification.
- Together with his local business partner, INBOX SK (Managing Director Mr. Branislav Gablas), established a website on which he bluntly & unethically attacked Slovak PRINCE2 trainers e.g. claiming: “You have to choose between a Slovak speaking trainer with a low pass rate (and risk losing the money invested) or select a renown institution, which has a pass rate of 100% in Slovakia”. First, active Slovak PRINCE2 Approved Trainers' students' PRINCE2 pass rates are almost 90% and even 100% for Foundation, with significantly more students trained than AJS Management Slovakia did train. Second, we consider such statements a reckless and insulting nationality-based attack, which has no place in fair business competition.
- Failed to remove such statements, as well as other severe misinformation regarding PRINCE2 training & certification, from the afforementioned website despite being requested to do so. He eventually did remove part of the statements only after the issue was reported to his ATO and APM Group. The remaining misinformation is still on the afforementioned website.
- Referred to some competitors' websites in an unethical manner on websites controlled by him and/ or his business partners.
- Is using text pasages obviously similar to copyrighted statements from competitors' websites on the AJS Management Slovakia website.
- When confronted directly with the matter, has resorted to personal insults instead of removing his malpractices.
- Placed statements unethically attacking competitors on the AJS Management Slovakia website.
The above facts indicate Mr. James Shekhdar and AJS Management Slovakia seem to be unable to engage in a fair competition and resort to unethical business practices instead, what reflects badly not only on them, but also on the whole PRINCE2 training provider community.
The unethical behaviour of Mr. Shekhdar & AJS Management Slovakia has been reported to the APM Group and the national project management association Mr. James Shekhdar is a member of (SPPR) together with a request to take corresponding disciplinary action against Mr. Shekhdar and AJS Management Slovakia.
